Parents claiming some benefits can claim free school meals for any of their children who are registered at a Staffordshire school and who would normally be at school at lunch time. School meals are a good way to ensure that your child eats well at lunchtime and you can save yourself time and money.
Current Recipients
- If you are moving to Clayton Hall Academy from a school out of our area (e.g. from Stoke on Trent or another county) – you will need to re-apply as your application does not automatically transfer across. Please follow the instructions for a ‘new application’ – within this new application you will be able to tick a box to show you had FSM at your previous school: www.staffordshire.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals
- If your child is moving from one Staffordshire school to another (not including Stoke Schools) you do not need to re-apply
New Applications
New applications should be made via the website at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals.
Please note FSM covers the meal deal for lunch only; breaks and additional items will still need to be paid for.
